Plastics Industry Association (PLASTICS) and Plastics News Visits Commercial Plastics Recycling, Inc.

January 30, 2024 – Commercial Plastics Recycling, Inc. (CPR) hosted Maureen Cameron, Senior Director, Trade Show Operations, with Plastics Industry Association (PLASTICS) and Rhoda Miel, Assistant Managing Editor with Plastics News.

Maureen and Rhoda toured the Tampa, Florida facility with Ben Benvenuti, CPR Founder & CEO, Gustavo Morales, CPR President and Chief Operating Officer, and Ryan Brodowski, Senior Account and Quality Control Manager. They were able to observe the CPR production team utilizing multiple shredders and grinders to process different plastic materials. In addition, they toured the on-site quality-control lab to learn the steps taken at CPR to ensure the quality of the recycled plastics.   

Maureen was also able to meet with the CPR team and share the many ways PLASTICS is promoting recycling at NPE2024 which will be held from May 6-10, 2024 in Orlando, Florida.

Rhoda interviewed CPR senior management for the April edition where CPR will be featured as the official recycler for NPE2024.
